Placement Tests

Before the students begin the web-based instruction, the teacher administers two placement tests—one on reading vocabulary comprehension and the other on listening vocabulary comprehension. The placement tests have been field tested, and both have proven to be reliable and valid. The teacher administers the listening placement test and uses the results to assign students to the appropriate level of instruction.
