Interactive Games

The interactive games keep students motivated and engaged by providing a fun environment for learning the First 4,000 Words. The games are fast-paced, incorporate sound and visual effects, and challenge students to earn points or beat the clock.

In the example on the right, the student must click the word that matches the picture. The sooner the student identifies the correct answer, the faster and farther the submarine travels.

By clicking the icon to the left of each word, the student can hear it pronounced.

Click on the submarine image and the matching game on the right to see animated elements of the game.
